TSLA (Transitional Supported Living Arrangement) is intended for members who want to be more independent and are transitioning from home or a more restricted placement. These members have shown a willingness to learn more skills and do not require 24 hour awake supervision.
This is usually for those individuals living on their own for the first time. Typically staff remains on-site to provide members with support. Cooking, recreation, and banking, are some of the skills that are taught. Members have the ability to go into the community without staff supervision for short periods of time.
